Pioneer Sales Associate – Pat Feldpausch Farms

 

Responsibilities:

  • Market and sell Pioneer and Granular products and services to growers within an assigned area of central Michigan.

  • Cultivate relationships with growers, both current customers and prospects.

  • Manage and operate the on-demand seed treater system.

  • Provide soil sampling and learn the Granular Agronomy and Nitrogen systems for developing recommendations.

  • Assist with the logistics of incoming and outgoing products and making deliveries to customers.

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate product inventories.

  • Provide products, agronomic services, and support throughout the year to customers.

  • Work with our Pioneer Agronomist and Territory Manger to continually learn products and services and translate that to the customer.

 

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of field crops and farming practices with a willingness and ability to learn more technical agronomic solutions.  

  • Sales experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.

  • Valid pesticide applicator certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.

  • Valid driver’s license with either a CDL or F-endorsement or the ability to obtain this within 6 months.

  • Live or being willing to relocate to within 30 minutes of Fowler, Michigan.

 

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary with opportunities for sales target bonuses.

  • 2% Simple IRA contribution after 12 months.
